Campus looks a bit different after you've been admitted
The campus visit is one of the most integral parts of a student’s final college decision. We recognize that the unusual circumstances of this year have impacted how students experience these campus visits, and we want to assist in making a visit to campus possible at a time you are most comfortable. We are excited to introduce our admitted student reimbursement visit program where we will subsidize up to $300 in travel expenses.
Here's what you need to know:
We will reimburse travel expenses on a sliding scale for all admitted students based on distance to campus from home or boarding school.
- 0-100 miles: will reimburse up to $100
- 101-300 miles: will reimburse up to $200
- 301+ miles: will reimburse up to $300
Distance to campus will be determined using a student’s home address with the exception of students living at school (i.e. boarding school), in which case school address may be used to designate a funding amount.
Below are the expense categories that qualify for reimbursement:
- Mileage reimbursed at the rate of 57.5 cents per mile
- Public transportation fees
- Meals (itemized receipts, no alcohol)
- Hotel fees (1 night)
Once a family concludes their official visit, you will receive an email from us that will include a reimbursement form. The form will ask you to submit electronic receipts of any costs incurred during your travel that meet the qualifying categories. The reimbursement form must be submitted no more than two weeks after your visit to campus.
Once you complete the form, our Business Office will then generate a check and mail it to you. Families can expect to receive their checks in 1-2 weeks after submitting their form.
This reimbursement program is designed for admitted students only. If you’ve already completed a visit to campus, we hope you’ll consider a return visit!
Campus visits are available Monday-Saturday and can include a tour and chats with your admissions counselor, financial aid staff member, or varsity coach.
Schedule your visit today!
Visits are available Monday through Saturday*. Personal visits will include a campus tour only. You can schedule to chat virtually with an admissions counselor, current student, and a financial aid staff member.
